Fragrant Memory is a 2D motion graphics animation depicting the emotion of love and gratitude through experiences with friends/family/romantic partners. Sometimes feelings of gratitude are all you need to feel full and loved, and those kinds of feelings encourage many people to show it back or spread that love to other people, and that’s what inspired me to create this piece.

This project includes an Arduino Installation that gave the audience an option to play the video upon interaction. The Arduino board was covered by a small box with a hole to show the LED light. The sides of the boxes were left open to allow individuals to interact with the photosensor with a bouquet of flowers (LED light reacts to darkness), which triggered the start to the video through Processing.

My project's themes are gratitude, emotional, and thoughtfulness. The main concept of this project will be gratitude, which will tie into the theme of thoughtfulness, making this an emotional piece.
